Job Responsibilities
The selected candidate will work on end-to-end account-to-account payment systems, including domestic payment rails such as SARIE, RTGS, IPS, RTP, and SADAD. The role also involves handling international payment transfers, including SWIFT and GCC RTGS systems.
Responsibilities include managing settlement processes, reconciliation, exception handling, and ensuring smooth transaction processing across real-time and batch-based payment systems. The candidate will support regulatory compliance requirements, including KYC and AML controls, and ensure audit logging and risk checks are correctly implemented.
The role requires implementation and maintenance of ISO 20022 payment messaging standards for instant and cross-border payments. The engineer will handle transaction routing, fraud and risk checks, compliance rules, settlement file processing, and automatic reconciliation workflows.
Technical Skills & Experience
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Java 8 or above, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs, SOAP, MQ, and Kafka is required.
